$1,000 sign on bonus and steady year round work! Lead HVAC Installer

Swift Pro Heating, Cooling & Plumbing is family-owned, based in Chantilly, and works Northern Virginia only:
Fairfax, Loudoun, Arlington, Prince William and Fauquier. Tyler Griffin started the company in 2024 on one belief: people matter most. Customers get treated like neighbors. The team gets treated like it matters. Quality comes before profit.

We use our own techs and our own trucks. Heating and cooling has its own team, and nobody here is a subcontractor with a magnet on the door. We're a Trane Comfort Specialist, a Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor and a Rheem Pro Partner, with a Virginia Class A license and an A rating from the BBB.

We're also growing fast, which is why we need you.

Why lead installers come here
  • The board stays full. Steady, year-round replacement work. Our sales team keeps the install board full every season, so you aren't guessing about next week.
  • Jobs show up sold right and scoped right. Customers get the price up front and no pushy sales, so you're not walking into a house that was promised the moon. If something's off, your manager picks up the phone.
  • The tools to win. Stocked company vehicle, gas card, tablet, uniforms and safety gear.
  • Paid to do it right. $30–$42/hour plus bonus, based on experience. Full-time W-2, paid weekly, overtime at 1.5x over 40 hours.
  • Time off is built in. PTO that accrues 2 hours every pay period, with up to 80 hours rolling over, plus six paid holidays.
  • Room to grow. We promote from within. As we add trucks, our best leads move into install manager and leadership roles.
  • Schedule:

Monday - Friday, with occasional Saturdays
What you'll do

Run the crew

  • Lead your install crew from load-out to drive-off. Plan the day, set the pace, keep it safe.
  • Train and coach your helpers. Show them how it's done, why it's done that way, and make them better every week.
  • Own quality. You do the final inspection on every job before anyone calls it finished.

Do the work

  • Install residential heating and cooling systems: gas furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, dual-fuel systems and ductless mini-splits
  • Install water heaters when needed, and learn and help on boilers and other products as we grow
  • Pull out the old equipment and recover refrigerant the right way, every time
  • Fabricate and modify ductwork, plenums and transitions for a clean fit and strong airflow
  • Braze linesets with nitrogen, pull a proper micron evacuation and weigh in the charge
  • Make gas, electrical, venting and condensate connections to code and manufacturer spec
  • Start up, test and commission every system, and document the readings
  • Walk the homeowner through the new system and thermostat before you leave
  • Lay down floor protection and leave the place cleaner than you found it

Our customers notice. A few things they've written about our install crews: "kept noise to a minimum so I could easily work from home." "This was a tougher attic install and it came out looking flawless." "Cleaned up after themselves and demo'd everything for me." That's the bar. We're 5.0 stars across more than 1,100 reviews, and we'd like to keep it that way.

What

you bring
  • 5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience, with time spent running a crew or leading jobs
  • EPA Section 608 certification
  • Solid in sheet metal, brazing, gas piping, low-voltage wiring and start-up
  • Patience to teach and the backbone to hold a standard
  • An eye for detail: level pads, straight lines, sealed joints, tidy wiring
  • You treat every home with respect and can explain a system to a homeowner in plain English

  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and able to pass a background check
