Automated Test Engineer

Two Six Technologies is building our team and looking for an experienced Automation Tester to support a new opportunity. This role will be primarily responsible for developing and maintaining automated end‑to‑end, integration and performance tests.

• Performs software product testing and investigates possible causes of problems
• Performs manual testing as stop‑gap for automated testing
• Develops functional, end‑to‑end, regression, and performance tests in automated test environments
• Detects and writes software bug reports and feature requests
• Understands, reproduces, troubleshoots product defects and works with developers to determine the best resolution
• Assists in the planning and implementation of testing new features

• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in software testing and Quality Assurance
• Minimum 2 years of experience with automated testing and automation frameworks: pytest(Python), unittest(Python), Ansible
• Minimum 1 year of experience using Git, Jenkins, and various Continuous Integration tools
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Linux OS

• Familiarity with Java and/or Go and basic debugging
• Experience with basic database technologies and software
• Solid grasp of technical writing and documentation in relation to software development
• Familiarity with Docker and technologies around scalable infrastructure, such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience working in an AGILE development environment
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Possess a passion for learning new technologies and staying up‑to‑date with industry trends
• Understanding of the Intelligence Community customers and their priorities
