About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Web Developer to join our team in building and maintaining a modern, React-based web platform. This entry-level position is ideal for someone passionate about front-end development who is eager to learn and grow. You'll work closely with senior developers, contributing to the development of responsive, user-friendly interfaces while leveraging AI-powered tools to accelerate coding, debugging, and innovation.

This role emphasizes hands-on experience with React.js and modern development practices, including the integration of AI assistants (e.g., Git Hub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) to enhance productivity and code quality.

Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain user-facing features using React.js, including building reusable components and managing application state.

- Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow.

- Utilize AI coding tools (such as Git Hub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude) for code generation, suggestions, debugging, refactoring, and prompt engineering to speed up development tasks.

- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to optimize performance across browsers and devices.

- Assist in implementing best practices for clean, modular, and maintainable code.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and AI-assisted development trends.

- Work in an agile environment, contributing to daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and team collaboration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Basic proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS

- Fundamental knowledge of React.js (components, hooks, state management – e.g., use State, use Effect; experience with Redux is a plus but not required).

- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.

- Experience or strong interest in using AI tools for coding assistance (e.g., generating code snippets, explaining concepts, or optimizing code).

- Understanding of responsive design principles and basic web performance optimization.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn in a supportive team environment.

- Strong communication skills for collaborating with designers, developers, and stakeholders.

- Top Secret Clearance with a CI Poly

Preferred Qualifications:

- Completion of a coding bootcamp, associate's/bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent self-taught experience/portfolio.

- Exposure to modern tools like npm/Yarn, Webpack, or Vite.

- Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs or Type Script.

- Personal projects or contributions to open-source React applications (Git Hub portfolio encouraged).
