We are seeking a Full‑Stack Software Engineer (Associate/Experienced) to join the Fish Tools program within the Ground Mission Management Software (GMM) team in Chantilly, VA;
Fairfax, VA;
Aurora, CO; or Mesa, AZ
. This role will engineer new solutions and support existing capabilities of an agile software program for the national intelligence community.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels, including Associate and Experienced level Software Engineers.
Primary Responsibilities- Software development tasks including detailed software design, coding, and testing of customer desired features/user stories.
- Analyzing customer requirements and ensuring software implementations meet functional requirements.
- Briefing software designs and demonstrating software release functionality to peers.
- Develop and sustain new and existing applications; as well as troubleshoot and resolve various software issues.
- Contribute to the creation of new distributed components and interactions that align with the future system architecture. The existing multi‑tiered system is developed on a cloud infrastructure with several consumer‑facing web applications.
- Active Top‑Secret U.S. Security Clearance with SCI eligibility (a clearance active in the past 24 months is considered active).
- Must be willing to sit for a CI Polygraph after start date.
- 3+ years of experience designing and developing software for complex systems (e.g., distributed systems, multi‑threaded and multi‑process applications) and a foundation in computer science and software development.
- 1+ year of experience in object‑oriented programming (Java preferred).
- Experience with distributed version control systems such as Git Hub, IBM Rational Team Concert, etc.
- 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- Experience with one or more of the following:
Java, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Firebug, JS frameworks (React, jQuery, jQuery UI, Open Layers, etc.), Spring Framework, Hibernate, RDBMS, Mongo
DB, XML, SOAP, REST, WSDL/Web Service protocols. - Experience using dependency management (Ivy, Maven, Gradle).
- Experience developing and maintaining SOAP, RMI, REST APIs and interfaces.
- Experience using cloud-based infrastructure (AWS).
- Experience using automation server (Jenkins).
- Experience/knowledge of the GEOINT domain.
- Familiarity with practices such as test‑driven development, agile software development, continuous integration, and dependency management.
- Familiarity with Agile or SAFe practices, including daily standup, User Stories, Sprints, and Release Planning.
- Security Certification such as Security+ or CISSP.
- Travel:

- Pay & Benefits:
Competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities.
