ACTIVE TS/SCI REQUIRED for this POSITION! Tap Here is looking for a self-starting, team-oriented Sr. Software Engineer, AI/ML to join our dynamic team in supporting space domain mission applications. The selected candidate will support the AI Development & O&M Team to perform requirements analysis, design, development, unit test, and integration of software components for developing the agentic AI framework and implementing advanced AI agents.
ExperienceRequired:
- Configure, extend, and integrate the program-approved open-source or commercial agentic AI architecture
- Enable multi-agent orchestration by leveraging built-in capabilities of the selected framework
- Ensure compatibility with evolving technologies and emerging AI/ML advancements
- Sustain, enhance, and secure the deployed agentic AI framework and intelligent agents after initial deployment
- Research, design, and development of software systems, in conjunction with hardware product development
- Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and test of software products
- Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts and principles in the development of software for the target application
- Work closely with cross functional members of the engineering organization to develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, and operational performance requirements and design of the overall system
- Contribute to determining, estimating, and validating the cost and scope of software efforts to ensure software performed meets program cost, schedule, and technical constraints
Required:
- Active TS SCI
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience or graduate degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Agentic AI technologies
- Capable of managing large, complex project initiatives with minimal oversight or direction
- Strong communication skills
- Shows initiative to provide significant improvements in processes, systems, or products and implement operational plans that have measurable impact on business or functional results.
- Proficient with development of software test procedures, software programs, and related documentation
