Now, we're looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Electronics Technician B to join our Operations Services team and support the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of our high-performance products.

What You'll Do

In this important role, you'll perform detailed testing and troubleshooting of production and developmental electronic sub-assemblies. Using schematics, procedures, and industry-standard tools, you'll identify and correct defects, ensuring each unit meets performance standards before it reaches the field. You'll also contribute to system configuration and support continuous improvement initiatives in a temperature-controlled manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test, wire, rework, repair, and modify Kustom Signals products and electronics per provided documentation
  • Use schematics and instructions to follow detailed test and troubleshooting procedures
  • Configure and test wide and local area network (WAN/LAN) components and wireless networking systems
  • Operate standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power meters
  • Calibrate and modify circuitry and components as required
  • Perform hand soldering and de-soldering on printed circuit boards
  • Accurately complete documentation including data collection, inventory transfers, and packing slips
  • Operate computer-integrated test systems
  • Adhere to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protocols
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Support general production and technical tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager

Qualifications:

What You'll Bring

Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Vo-Tech certificate in Electronics Technology, associate degree, or Military Electronics Training
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Electronic Technician in a manufacturing or technical environment
Skills & Attributes:
  • Skilled in PCB-level and system-level electronic rework and repair
  • Proficient in reading schematics, technical drawings, and documentation
  • Comfortable using test equipment and small tools
  • Ability to configure wireless and networking components used in mobile systems
  • Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Windows-based software
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and team-oriented
Physical & Mental Demands:
  • Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
  • Use close and distance vision for component-level work
  • Read and interpret schematics, work orders, and instructions with attention to detail
