Excavator Operator - Pipeline Maintenance & Construction

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator with a strong background in pipeline construction and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have proven experience operating excavators around live pipelines and other utilities, and will be capable of performing tasks such as trenching, digging, and bank stabilization with precision and safety in mind.

• Operate excavators and other heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, and graders to perform excavation tasks.
• Perform digging around live lines while adhering to strict safety protocols.
• Execute trenching, bank stabilization, and site preparation tasks.
• Assist in loading/unloading materials and equipment as needed.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of machinery while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate work activities and meet project deadlines.
• Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and moving materials as needed.
