Hotel Front Desk Supervisor
Front Desk Supervisors ensure our guests receive exceptional service by supervising the employees of the Guest Services department. They will maintain and promote excellence in hospitality and customer service at all times; welcoming and serving guests in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner.

How You'll Fit In
- Greet customers as you see them, speak politely, and assist customers.
- Direct, coach, and train staff during shifts.
- Make schedules and adjustments to hours. Assign breaks and lunches during shifts.
- Implement training of company or franchise policies and procedures, operational goals, and objectives.
- Assist guests with check-out, ensuring rooms are serviced, correctly accounted for, and ready for the next guest.
- Respond to guest complaints, inquiries, and requests; conduct research and resolve or negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Address problems that may arise while on duty and communicate progress to management.
- Perform duties of department at the front desk, in maintenance, housekeeping, or restaurant.
- Communicate with other departments to coordinate events and activities at the property.
- Input and retrieve information from the computer including guest information, room rates, room selections, coding electronic keys, and invoicing.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of hotel information including room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and local area.
- Count cash drawers, determine inventory levels, maintain department equipment and supplies, and communicate concerns to management.
- Oversee cleanliness and organization of work area.
- Maintain a safe facility and use safety-first practices to remain accident-free.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Typical Physical Demands
- Regularly required to talk and hear.
- Requires standing and walking, with some bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing.
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
While performing these duties, the employee may be exposed to outdoor elements in all seasons. Occasionally, the employee will also be exposed to fumes and particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times.
