About the Role:

You’ll serve as a working supervisor, leading and coordinating a skilled team responsible for assembling and repairing high‑performance RADAR, LIDAR, and video systems. Your expertise will help ensure that our products are built and serviced to exacting standards, while your leadership will foster a positive, collaborative environment on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support the assembly and repair of electronic products, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency
  • Work closely with the Production Scheduler to align customer orders with production priorities
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support for product‑related questions
  • Lead daily team operations, including prioritizing work orders and assigning tasks
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and boost team performance
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide training, and manage disciplinary actions
  • Maintain compliance with safety procedures and ensure a clean, organized workspace
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to implement improvements and ensure up‑to‑date documentation

Supervisory Responsibilities:

You’ll directly oversee a team that includes Electronic Technicians, Assemblers, and Tech Aids. Your leadership will influence everything from daily task assignments to performance reviews, training, and professional development.

Equipment You’ll Use:

Computer, soldering iron, de‑soldering gun, small hand tools, basic test equipment, phone, and appropriate PPE.

Work Environment:

You’ll be working in a clean, quiet, temperature‑controlled manufacturing facility.

Travel:

Minimal travel required—based on business needs.

Qualifications

Skills & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
    Vo‑Tech certificate, associate degree, or Military Electronics Training preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in electronics assembly, testing, and repair
  • Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Proficient in reading schematics and assembly drawings
  • Skilled in the use of electronic test equipment and hand tools
  • Strong computer skills, including spreadsheets and basic networking knowledge
  • Proven leadership and organizational abilities, with a knack for prioritizing multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt to change, and motivate a team to achieve results

Physical Demands:

Must be able to sit, use hands repetitively, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Requires good manual dexterity and vision capabilities.
