Maintenance Manager

Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $/yr

A long-standing, stable industrial manufacturer with over a century of success is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead and continuously improve plant maintenance operations. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving reliability, safety, and operational excellence across a large, high-output manufacturing environment.

• Lead and oversee mechanical and electrical maintenance teams, providing clear direction, coaching, and long-term vision
• Develop and manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize uptime and efficiency
• Plan and execute major maintenance activities, shutdowns, and improvement projects while minimizing downtime
• Manage maintenance budgets, resources, and external contractors to ensure cost-effective results
• Champion reliability initiatives, continuous improvement, and best maintenance practices
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and applicable labor agreements
• Support plant operations through strong collaboration, technical expertise, and problem-solving leadership

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment
• Proven experience leading maintenance teams and managing projects
• Strong knowledge of large rotating equipment and maintenance best practices
• Experience with CMMS systems (SAP preferred)
• A safety-first mindset with strong communication and leadership skills
