Job Overview

Operations Managers at Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores assist and oversee daily operations to drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

• Lead a team and manage daily operations to achieve organizational goals.
• Drive sales of products and services through ordering, stocking, inventory management, and merchandising.
• Ensure the facility is safe, clean, and well-maintained, including restrooms and equipment.
• Assist the General Manager with task execution, schedule and cash integrity, and daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
• Analyze financial reporting, including profit and loss statements, to capitalize on opportunities.
• Collaborate with managers on talent acquisition and employee training.

• 2+ years in retail, travel stop, or big box store management.
• 2+ years managing operations with annual sales of $2+ million.
• 2+ years deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
• 2+ years supervising and training 5–10+ employees.
• Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.

• Work various shift times, including days, afternoons, evenings, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus.
• Exceptional customer service and positive rapport building.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective teamwork skills.

• Regular talking and hearing; standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing.
• Frequently lift/move items over 75 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required.
