Undergraduate Medical Education; UME) Coordinator

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is hiring an Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) Coordinator to provide advanced administrative and operational support for undergraduate medical education in the Department of Medicine. The coordinator focuses on the Inpatient Medicine Core Clerkship and related student educational initiatives. This role also supports accreditation and reporting activities, special projects, and continuous improvement efforts.

• Schedule and coordinate course logistics, educational activities, examinations, and meetings for the Inpatient Medicine Core Clerkship.
• Serve as a central contact for medical students, faculty, residency programs, School of Medicine administration, and statewide campus partners.
• Maintain educational records and databases.
• Track evaluations, attendance, grades, and required documentation.
• Prepare reports and data summaries and manage educational platforms and shared resources.
• Support course directors by organizing meetings and disseminating communications.
• Require a high school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience.
• Prefer proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
• Favor experience with systems such as Canvas, One
  45, and Panopto.
• Pay a hiring range of $45,500 to $53,000 per year.
