- Work closely with the Estimating/Preconstruction team and Project Superintendent to facilitate a seamless transition from estimating to operations, when necessary.
- Review and enforce subcontract agreements necessary for the completion of the project.
- Adhere to the project budget and perform cost analysis to accurately project the anticipated profit.
- Ensure that the project moves forward in a timely, cost-effective manner, making changes and adjustments as necessary.
- Work with project team to organize and report construction activities.
- Have a thorough understanding of the plans and specifications including scopes of work, scheduled activities, necessary actions to prepare for subcontractor performance, supply chain delays and anticipated challenges.
- Assist in enforcing safety guidelines and operational requirements on the jobsite.
- Enforce all quality control policies and procedures.
- Help to identify and resolve scope conflicts, working to attain resolution as soon as possible.
- Maintain constant communication with all project team members throughout the construction and closeout of the project.
- Maintain documentation of all efforts related to the management of the project using approved company means and methods.
- 2+ years of commercial construction management experience
- Excellent communication abilities, including writing, speaking and active listening
- Good planning and organizational skills, including design execution, resource allocation and contingencies
- Great with problem solving and decision-making skills
- OSHA 10 Certification in Construction and a demonstrated in-depth understanding of local, state, and federal construction regulations
- Effective leadership abilities: motivation, goal setting, team building and conflict management
Procore experience preferred
