Endocrinologist, Transitions & Virtual Care – Open Rank
Position Summary: The Division of Endocrinology, Department of Medicine, at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine seeks an open rank, fixed term faculty member to grow our outpatient transitions and virtual care programs within the core clinical, educational, and research missions of a large academic medical center. Academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Clinical Responsibilities: Coverage of inpatient consult services; precepting fellows in the outpatient clinic; expanding the division’s footprint in North Carolina through virtual care services; focus on quality improvement and patient safety across inpatient and ambulatory settings; exceptional patient care; collaborating across disciplines; educating medical students, residents, and fellows.
Location: UNC Eastowne Medical Office Building (MOB), 2021‑built center just a few miles from the UNC Medical Center campus; contains on‑site radiology, laboratory, infusion, pharmacy and parking.
Employment Details: Full‑time permanent faculty, 40 hours per week, FTE 1, proposed start date 03/01/2025.
Minimum
Education And Experience Requirements:
MD/DO, Board Certified/Board Eligible in Endocrinology.

Experience:
Emphasis placed on exceptional clinical skills.
