PositionSummary:
The School of Social Work hires intermittent part-time adjunct faculty (Practice) during the academic year and/or summer sessions to teach one or more courses in the MSW or PhD programs. Curriculum, programs and content areas determine teaching needs.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:Master’s degree in social work is required. Two-years of professional social work experience in direct practice, community practice, management, and/or policy practice is required.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience:A doctoral degree or the completion of some doctoral coursework in social work or a related field is preferred.
A professional social work license and/or other relevant credentials are preferred.
Teaching experience in social work graduate education is preferred.
Teaching experience in social work practice courses is preferred.
