The Philosophy, Politics and Economics Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is recruiting for a Postdoctoral Fellow. This position is designed to support a talented PPE scholar. Specific duties will include serving as primary researcher and repository manager for the PPE Research Consortium, a project which has been awarded $3.2m grant to offer PPE research grants and to build an accessible infrastructure supporting PPE research and teaching.

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute, through their own research activity, to the thriving PPE research community here at UNC and to teach one PPE course each academic year. The appointment will be for an initial year with the possibility of annual renewal for up to an additional two years, contingent upon satisfactory performance review, available funding, and approval by the Program Director.

• Serve as primary researcher and repository manager for the PPE Research Consortium.
• Contribute to the PPE research community through own research activities.
• Teach one PPE course each academic year, including the Gateway course that introduces students to the tools of PPE.
• Organize and run aspects of the program’s active extracurricular programming.
• Work with databases and help design and build a repository of PPE related material.
