Clinical Assistant, Clinical Associate, or Clinical Professor (Accounting)

The Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking to fill one (1) clinical faculty position in the Accounting area with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026. The successful candidate will be a creative and effective teacher capable of contributing to the School’s programs, primarily to our Master of Accounting (MAC) and online MAC programs.

The majority of the teaching contributions will be in the field of Auditing, including potentially in areas such as accounting information systems.
Applicants must have completed a doctoral degree (or foreign equivalent) in Accounting or Business prior to beginning work activities and can anticipate an initial appointment of Clinical Assistant, Clinical Associate, or Clinical Professor, depending on credentials.
Preferably, applicants possess the versatility to teach other accounting courses beyond auditing such as financial reporting and financial statement analysis. Additionally, it is preferred
that applicants have a minimum of two (2) years teaching experience that includes undergraduate or Master of Accounting programs.
