Global Sourcing Director

Voltage is growing fast—with a new U.S. production facility in North Carolina—and we’re hiring a Global Sourcing Director to shape our global procurement and supply chain strategy.

This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role where you’ll build a high-performing sourcing team and lead supplier negotiations across the U.S., Asia, Europe, and South America. You’ll manage sourcing for solar connectors, cables, inverters, BESS systems, production equipment, services, and logistics—driving quality, and cost. Plus set the global sourcing roadmap, build a high-performing team, and ensure that Voltage’s supply chain remains cost-efficient, resilient, and performance across our global network.

The ideal candidate is adaptable, proactive, and able to transition seamlessly between office locations as Voltage expands into new facilities.

• Lead global sourcing for solar connectors, cables, inverters, solar panels, BESS products, production equipment, services, and logistics.
• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing global procurement team.
• Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing structures, and delivery commitments across multiple regions.
• Establish and maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality, compliance, and performance.
• Develop multi-sourcing strategies to minimize risk and enhance supply chain resilience.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and production teams to align sourcing decisions with technical and business requirements.
• Implement logistics optimization strategies to improve delivery reliability and cost efficiency.
• Drive measurable results in cost savings, supplier performance, and on-time delivery.

• 10+ years of progressive experience in global sourcing or procurement; renewable energy, manufacturing, or electronics industry background strongly preferred.
• Proven leadership experience managing diverse, international teams.
• Strong negotiation skills with suppliers in the U.S., Asia, Europe, and South America.
• Deep knowledge of logistics, international trade regulations, customs, and supplier compliance.

• Exceptional communication and relationship management skills.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment
:
Work is performed in an office environment with occasional travel internationally (25%-35%).
