This position is based in the Central Inpatient Pharmacy and supports the entire UNC Medical Center, including all six hospitals. We are seeking a highly motivated, detail‑oriented, and adaptable Pharmacy Technician who thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. In this vital role, you will contribute to high‑impact patient care by supporting the preparation, distribution, and timely delivery of medications to patient care units, surgical suites, and emergency departments.

The position requires precision, strong teamwork, and resilience.

Education Requirements: None required as long as all other position requirements are met. Completion of an academic pharmacy technician training program preferred.

Licensure/Certification Requirements: Registration with the NC Board of Pharmacy unless enrolled in a Pharm

D program. CPhT from PTCB or ExCPT from NHA unless enrolled in a Pharm

D program.

Professional Experience Requirements: Prior pharmacy technician experience is preferred.
