UNC Horizons Program seeks Residential Therapist to work in our residential treatment programs for women with substance abuse issues and their children in Chapel Hill. These programs operate 24/7, 365 days a year.
Responsibilities- Provide direct client service (structured and informal) and supervision.
- Deliver individual and group client services.
- Work effectively in a treatment team environment.
- Actively participate in the residential on-call system.
Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services discipline with coursework related to the area of assignment. Some positions may require certification to practice as required by the North Carolina Social Work Certification Board.
Required Qualifications , Competencies, and Experience- Solid communication skills and the ability to work well in a treatment team setting.
- One of the following licensure is preferred: LCAS, LCAS-A, LCSW, LCSW-A, LPC, LPC-A, LPA.
- Experience working with populations with substance dependency issues.
- Experience in a women’s residential substance abuse program and in a trauma-informed environment.
Must be able to ascend/descend stairs with or without accommodation.

- Overtime occasionally
- Valid NC Driver’s License
- Weekend work occasionally

Salary: $47,000 - $50,837
