Workstation Supervisor / Assistant Secretary for Strategic Development/Information Technology Services/Information Technology Services-D5
This position supports the Agency's mission by installing, maintaining, and updating Information Technology hardware and software necessary to develop, plan, and implement a safe transportation system for residents and visitors to Florida.

Your Specific Responsibilities:
- Supervise employees by communicating, motivating, training, evaluating, and planning their work. Authority to recommend hiring, transferring, suspension, layoffs, promotions, discharges, and disciplinary actions.
- Plan and direct workloads, deadlines, work objectives, and time utilization.
- Provide training and instruction to subordinates in methods and techniques for safe task performance.
- Provide hardware and software technical training and professional development for technicians.
- Monitor and assign service desk tickets to ensure proper resolution and adherence to Service Level Agreements.
- Participate in projects such as PC Replacement, Memory Upgrade, and OS Upgrade.
- Participate in statewide teams, sharing information and facilitating decision-making.
- Oversee support for software applications, including Microsoft Operating Systems, Office Suite, and custom applications.
- Manage installation, maintenance, and support of specialized software and hardware.
- Provide Tier III support as needed.
- Oversee AV and VC support, including setup and troubleshooting.
The Successful Candidate will have the following required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products, including operating systems, Office Suite, and Outlook in a network environment.
- Advanced knowledge of computer hardware, software, and firmware related to PCs and network environments.
Skills in:
- Supervising technical staff.
- Installing and supporting software, operating systems, and hardware.
Ability to:
- Supervise technical staff.
- Plan, organize, manage, and track projects.
- Lead and participate in teams.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting on various computers.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Understand and adhere to departmental policies and standards.
- Mentor, train, and support technicians.
