SummaryChampion is seeking an experienced and reliable construction professional to lead the team in managing projects related to the set and trim‑out of HUD and modular homes. The Project Manager will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with construction documents, reporting directly to the Director of Operations.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Oversee, direct, and coordinate crews of company employees and subcontractors to perform installation and trim‑out of HUD and modular homes for retailers/builders.
- Act as the primary point of contact between Champion Construction Service and the retailer/builder throughout the manufacturing process in the region.
- Help create company‑owned set crews and trim‑out crews, including developing business plans and budgets.
- Solicit and certify subcontractor crews for set and factory trim‑out services.
- Develop working relationships and market services to retailers/builders.
- Process paperwork and maintain files for quotes and orders of service.
- Collaborate with divisional leadership to create tools and documents essential for doing business in the region.
- Complete any required courses/tests to become certified or licensed as an installer of HUD and modular homes (advantageous).
- Perform any other duties as requested.
- Ability to travel within the state.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for all audiences.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and ability to develop accurate budget reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, schedules, and other required reporting.
- Strong leadership and follow‑up skills with a hands‑on approach.
- Confidence and enthusiasm to network and promote services.
- Strong knowledge of construction installation processes and MEPs.
Ten or more years of directly related experience and/or training; related to a 4‑year degree from an accredited university or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
