Project Manager, Project & Program Management

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is hiring a Project Manager to manage efforts for 2-3 federally or privately funded oncology team science projects at the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. The manager serves as the primary point of contact for internal study partners and keeps research activities on schedule. This role also handles the day-to-day project operations and the funder-facing grant paperwork.

• Manage 2-3 federally or privately funded oncology team science projects.
• Establish study and grant application timelines.
• Assist with grant and project budgeting.
• Coordinate research meetings and retreats.
• Help with grant renewals and progress report submissions for the funder.
• Maintain collaborative partnerships with participating health care facilities.
• Hold a bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Prefer relevant research experience and experience with cancer research.
• Work Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, for an estimated appointment of 6 months or longer.
• Pay a hiring range of $28.00 to $30.00 per hour.
