Location: Chapel Hill, NC (onsite; relocating to Timberlake, NC mid-next year)
Employment Type: Full-time

Voltage is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead all aspects of manufacturing operations. This role is critical in driving safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency while overseeing the launch of our new Timberlake facility.

• Lead daily plant operations: production, maintenance, quality, safety, and logistics.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Manage and develop a high-performing operations team.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
• Oversee production planning, equipment maintenance, and facility readiness.
• Execute new facility launch: operational planning, equipment installation, and workforce build-out.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years in manufacturing leadership; 5+ years as Plant Manager or senior operations leader.
• Proven experience in plant startup or new facility launch.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, lean manufacturing, and quality systems.
• Excellent leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.

• ERP/MES experience (SAP, Oracle).
• Six Sigma, PMP, or Lean certification.

Ability to work on the production floor, lift up to 75 lbs, and navigate varying environmental conditions.
