Travel Registered Nurse

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to work at a correctional facility in Lillington, North Carolina
. These are registry positions with our company.

36hr Travel Package. Weekly Gross Pay = $900. Local Hourly Rate (Taxable) = $25. Weekly Travel Stipend (non-taxed) = $1169 (Hotel–693, Meals–476). Total Weekly Pay = $2069 (not taxed). Effective hourly rate = $57.47.

• At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• A valid and current RN license issued by the client.
• A valid and current BLS provider card (American Heart Association).
• Proficiency in the English language for effective oral and written communication with staff and patients.
• Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away.

• Provides general nursing care to patients.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
• Prepares equipment and aids the physician during treatments and examinations of patients.
• Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of the patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
• Takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of the patient.
• May make beds, bathe, and feed patients.
• May serve as leader for a group of personnel rendering nursing care to a number of patients.
• Additional RN duties given by Supervisor.
