About

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook to join our Operations team on a full-time, hourly basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in preparing and presenting high-quality meals while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and efficiency. If you're passionate about cooking, thrive in fast-paced environments, and enjoy working as part of a team, we'd love to hear from you.

What

You'll Do
  • Prepare and cook menu items to the established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion standards are consistently met.
  • Set up and stock cooking stations with necessary supplies based on meal demand.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Support inventory management by monitoring food supplies and reporting shortages or inconsistencies.
  • Assist in receiving and properly storing food deliveries.
  • Handle kitchen tools, equipment, and machinery with care and follow safety protocols.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a line cook or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of various cooking methods, techniques, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle the demands of a kitchen environment.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Proficiency in English is required for communication and understanding instructions.
