The Town of Chapel Hill is seeking a part-time waste collector to perform regular manual collections of trash, yard waste, bulky items, and other special wastes from residential properties and small businesses. The role includes riding with a refuse truck, loading, and basic vehicle upkeep.
Starting salary is $18.52 per hour. The position is safety sensitive, requires pre-employment screening, and offers two hours per day, four days per week (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri).
