Head of Finance

Butler Rose is recruiting a Head of Finance position for a Global Manufacturing business based in Ilminster.

My client is looking for a strategic, hands‑on Head of Finance to lead the financial direction of the manufacturing site. You'll partner with the site leadership team to drive performance, ensure compliance, and support profitable growth.

• Own financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for the site.
• Act as a key business partner, providing insight to guide major decisions.
• Ensure robust controls, compliance, and accurate financial accounting.
• Support business cases, investment decisions, and customer proposals.
• Oversee costing, variance analysis, and financial efficiency in manufacturing.
• Manage tax, audit, and currency risk for the site.

• Be a fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Have strong finance leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Be commercially minded with excellent business partnering skills.
• Have proven ability to deliver results, challenge assumptions, and drive performance.
