Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Packer & Grader Operatives to join a busy warehouse operation in Ilminster.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives, Packing Operatives, Food Production Operatives, Quality Operatives, or Packer & Grader Operatives looking for flexible, ad-hoc work within a fast-paced food production environment.

• £13.30 per hour.
• £50 overtime bonus.
• Ad-hoc shifts to suit business needs.
• Working hours:
  
  7am-6:30pm.
• Weekly pay.
• Supportive team environment.
• Opportunity to gain experience within a busy warehouse and food production setting.

• Inspect potatoes and remove any that do not meet quality standards.
• Follow photographic grading standards to ensure product quality.
• Identify and report any foreign bodies found on the grading line.
• Pack potatoes carefully to ensure products reach customers in excellent condition.
• Monitor product quality throughout the packing process.
• Report damaged packaging, poor seals, split bags, or quality concerns to the Machine Operator.
• Ensure the correct number of bags are packed into trays or MUs and stacked correctly on pallets.
• Apply the correct labels to products accurately.
• Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and food quality procedures.
