Night Hygiene Operative

Ilminster | £15.37 per hour + £50 overtime bonus | Night Shift | Monday-Thursday, 6:30pm-4:00am

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Night Hygiene Operative to join a growing team based in Ilminster.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking Hygiene Operative, Industrial Cleaner, Food Production Hygiene Operative or Cleaning Operative who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety within a busy production environment.

Key Duties

As a Night Hygiene Operative, your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out thorough cleaning and sanitising of production and packing areas.

Washing down production machinery and equipment in line with hygiene and food safety procedures.

Cleaning drains, floors, walls and other designated areas to maintain site cleanliness.

Operating power washers and other cleaning equipment safely and effectively.

Following cleaning schedules, hygiene standards and health & safety procedures at all times.

Ensuring equipment, machinery and work spaces meet the required hygiene standards before production resumes.

Working closely with colleagues and supervisors to support operational requirements and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

We're looking for candidates who have:

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.

The ability to follow cleaning procedures and health & safety guidelines.

Confidence working with cleaning chemicals and power washing equipment.

Good communication skills.

A reliable approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Previous experience within hygiene, industrial cleaning or food production environments is desirable but not essential.

What We Offer

£15.37 per hour.

£50 overtime bonus.

Night shift working Monday-Thursday, 6:30pm-4:00am.
