Role OverviewWeareseekingan experiencedCNCMiller/Programmer/Setter tojoinourdynamic
team.
ThesuccessfulcandidatewillhaveastrongbackgroundinCNCmillingoperations,
withtheabilitytoprogram,set,andoperatearangeofmachines,ensuringcomponentsare
producedtothehigheststandardsofqualityandaccuracy.
Key Responsibilities- Program,set,andoperateCNCmillingmachinesusing Fanuc,Heidenhain,and Siemens controls (experience with Mazatrol ishighlyadvantageous).
- Workon 3,4,and5-axismachiningcentres ,producing complex,high-precision components.
- Readandinterpretdetailedengineeringdrawings,ensuringdimensionalaccuracyand compliancewithcustomerrequirements.
- Machineawidevarietyofmaterials,including exoticalloysandhardmetals ,to tight tolerances.
- Conductqualitychecksusingappropriate metrologyandinspectionequipment , following AS9100 and first-off inspection procedures.
- Maintainproductionefficiencyandqualitythroughadherenceto 6S and Lean manufacturing practices.
- Collaboratewithproduction,engineering,andqualityteamstoresolvetechnicalor process-related issues.
- Workindependentlytomanageworkloadswhilecontributingeffectivelyaspartofa team.
- Minimum 5years’experience asaCNCMiller/Programmer/Setter.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and toolpath optimisation.
- Provenexperiencewithin Aerospace,Oil&Gas,or Automotive manufacturing environments.
- Excellentattentiontodetailandcommitmenttoprecision.
- Knowledge of AS9100standards andqualityassuranceprocedures.
- Self-motivatedwithstrongproblem-solving skills.
- Experiencewithofflineprogrammingsoftware(e.g.Mastercam,Edgecam,or Fusion 360).
- Understandingofprocessimprovementinitiatives.
