• Crew member essential to the application of asphalt/tack on highway/roadways/parking lots/driveways.

• Operate asphalt distributor truck.
• Set spray bar on manual, automatic, or semi‑automatic distributors for applying liquid asphalt.
• Physical ability to operate distributor and perform manual labor as needed, such as shoveling or raking, under extreme temperatures and for extended hours (normal shift 8‑12 hours).
• Follow verbal instruction from crew foreman and assist in other positions if needed.
• Apply liquid from distributor to designated area with attention to detail and emphasis on craftsmanship.
• Initiate performance or assistance with other positions for job completion.
• Follow traffic control instructions and practice safety standards per company policy.
• Perform oil, grease, service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment.
• Perform other related duties such as shoveling, setting string line, and adding or removing screed extensions.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Maintain a courteous and professional manner with co‑workers, customers, and the public.
• Be flexible with last‑minute schedule changes, location changes, and shift changes. Overtime work required; out‑of‑town/county/state work may be required.
• Adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) policy and maintain individual PPE in functional condition.
• Pass drug test and criminal background check.

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred but not required.
• Commercial Driver’s License with hazmat endorsements required.
