Position: Outpatient /Halfway Women's Counselor

Hour House is seeking to fill an Outpatient / Halfway Women's Counselor position to work in our specialized treatment program for women with Substance Use Disorder.

Counselor will provide individual, group and family counseling to individuals with Substance Use Disorder in Outpatient Office in Charleston. Master's degree in counseling, social work or psychology preferred. Consideration will be given to applicants with a bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 3 years of continuous sobriety, and a year of social service experience.

Interest in long term recovery issues such as relationship building, recovery from trauma, and sustained recovery, a plus. This position will require working one to two evenings a week.

The counselor will work as a part of a team with other clinicians and have ample opportunity for consultation and supervision. Documentation is accomplished by electronic medical record.

Compensation is good and benefits are excellent with generous paid days off.

There is good opportunity for advancement to clinical management positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year
