Starting at $18.75/hour. Full-Time or Part-Time positions available for 2nd shift. Hours vary from 3pm‑11pm and/or 4pm‑12am. Combination weekday and weekend shifts. Weekend availability is required.
We seek patient and dedicated caregivers to assist adults with developmental disabilities in neighborhood group homes. Our Caregivers/DSPs provide support to adults living in CILA homes (Community Integrated Living Arrangements) with around‑the‑clock care. Developmental Foundations, a family-owned company providing quality residential services since 1986, is hiring Caregivers/DSPs for our group homes in Charleston, IL.

- $18.75/hour
- DSP training is provided and paid; after training you will become a certified DD Aide and be added to the HCWR.

- DSP work qualifies for CNA license renewal.
- DSP or CNA experience beneficial, but not required.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred, but not required.
- Entry‑level position; training is provided and paid.
- High school completion or equivalency – high school diploma, signed transcript including graduation date, or GED required.
- Successfully complete and pass a background check.
- Weekend/holiday availability may be required.
- Companionship and caregiving.
- Housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Assistance with medication.
- Assistance with personal care, including bathing, toileting, and grooming.
- Ability to stay alert and responsive at all times.
