The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing day‑to‑day accounting operations, including sales tax oversight, accounts receivable, invoicing, and financial reporting. This role requires expertise in Quick Books Online, , and Shopify, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with leadership on cash flow and P&L management.

• Manage multi‑state sales tax filings and compliance
• Maintain accurate nexus records and ensure timely payments
• Reconcile sales tax liabilities and resolve discrepancies

• Oversee customer invoicing through  and/or Quick Books Online and internal systems
• Monitor outstanding A/R and follow up on past‑due accounts
• Maintain accurate customer financial records
• Assist in preparing monthly P&L statements
  , balance sheets, and cash flow reports
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Provide financial insights to leadership for decision-making

• Process and enter invoices for payment within
• Ensure accuracy in mapping invoiced items to the General Ledger
• Prepare weekly Accounts Payable payment cycles for approval and disbursement
• Monitor and apply vendor credits as appropriate

• Manage daily accounting entries and reconciliations in Quick Books Online (QBO)
• Reconcile bank, credit card, merchant, and sales platform accounts
• Coordinate with operations to ensure accurate COGS, inventory, and order data
• Support year‑end reporting, audits, and tax preparation
• Assist in monthly closing process including account reconciliations, preparation of backup schedules, and accrual journal entries where required

• Maintain integrations between Shopify, QBO, and other platforms
• Identify and implement process improvements for accuracy and efficiency
• Ensure accounting procedures align with GAAP standards

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5+ years of professional accounting experience (e‑commerce experience a plus)
• Proficiency with:
• Quick Books Online
• Shopify
• Familiarity with inventory accounting and landed costs of goods calculations
• Strong understanding of sales tax compliance
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and analytical skills

• Experience in high‑volume A/R and A/P environments
• Knowledge of inventory accounting and e‑commerce order workflows
• Prior experience with multi‑state sales tax systems
• Familiarity with additional tools such as G‑Suite, Excel, Shopify, Quick Books Online, , Cin7
