Accounts Payable Administrator – Dooley Mack Constructors of South Carolina, LLC

We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist (Pay Applications Focus) who will take ownership of critical Pay Application processes for our construction projects. This role is ideal for someone detail‑oriented, collaborative, and ready to make an impact in a supportive, career‑focused environment.

• Work closely with the Controller and Project Managers to prepare and post all monthly Sub/Vendor Subcontractor Pay Applications.
• Process and issue subcontractor payments while ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
• Verify subcontractors meet all requirements before payments are released.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting files and records for each project.
• Manage lien waivers with precision and timeliness.
• Provide reports and schedules to the Controller as needed.
• Apply comprehensive knowledge of accounting procedures to support company success.
• Train support staff when directed by management.

• 2+ years of accounting experience (construction or subcontractor accounting a plus).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting procedures and principles.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  Vista experience is a plus.
• Ability to multitask with attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and team members.
