Job SummaryThe Receptionist supports the entire firm through scheduling, document processing, onboarding coordination, and seasonal tax support, while maintaining an organized, professional, and friendly office environment. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, enjoys client interaction, and takes pride in keeping things running efficiently behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities- Be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, creating a friendly and professional first impression
- Answer and route incoming phone calls and inquiries
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries
- Keep the reception area and common spaces organized and presentable
- Manage shared calendars, meeting spaces, and basic scheduling needs
- Assist with onboarding coordination and administrative paperwork
- Support document handling, filing, scanning, and recordkeeping
- Help with tax‑season client document check‑in and delivery
- Monitor shared email inboxes and route requests appropriately
- Provide general administrative support to staff and teams across the firm

This role is located in our West Ashley office
- High school or equivalent required
- Prior experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred
- High level of comfort with technology
- Ability to adapt as priorities shift
- Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
- Organized in a fast‑paced environment
- A can‑do, team‑oriented approach
- Receptive attitude and personality towards coaching and a strong desire to learn
- Willingness to work additional hours as needed (seasonally)
