St. Andrew's Parks and Playground is searching for Fishing Camp Counselors for our summer Fishing Camp program. The ideal teammate is passionate about working with children, teaching basic fishing skills to a group and is excited to be part of a team that has enriched lives through parks, recreation, and wellness for over 80 years.
This seasonal position runs during the summer break. Fishing Camp Counselors will start their day at the gymnasium at 1095 Playground Road prior to transporting participants to the fishing location for the day, then return to the gymnasium at the end. Participants and counselors must bring a sack lunch to the fishing site.
Summer Fishing Camps run Monday through Friday from June 1, 2026 to July 31, 2026
. Paid pre‑camp training sessions are scheduled on selected dates between May 11 and May 29 from 6:00 PM to 8:00‑9:00 PM. Attendance is mandatory, although exceptions may be made with approval by the Program Director.

- Ability to teach basic fishing skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation, or ability to coordinate transport when needed
