ABOUT THE CLIENT

A well‑established and highly respected commercial general contractor with a strong presence in the Charleston market. ABOUT THE ROLE

• Lead commercial construction projects from pre‑construction through final completion
• Manage all aspects of project execution including scope, schedule, budget, and quality
• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules
• Prepare and manage project budgets, cost reports, and forecasts
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with owners, architects, engineers, and consultants
• Identify, mitigate, and resolve project challenges in a proactive manner
• Manage and support on‑site Superintendents
• Negotiate, award, and manage subcontractor and supplier contracts
• Oversee change management, project financials, and reporting
• Participate in pre‑construction services including estimating, value engineering, and constructability reviews
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and project‑specific requirements

ABOUT THE CANDIDATE

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in commercial construction project management with a General Contractor
• Proven experience delivering commercial projects from ground‑up through closeout
• Experience managing projects valued at $10M+ preferred
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project priorities
• Detail‑oriented with strong financial and schedule management capabilities
• Experience working in the Charleston or Southeast market is a plus
