W. M. Jordan Company is seeking a full-time Safety Manager with at least 5 years of commercial construction safety experience. Please note that this position is for a contract role. We are seeking an individual for a site‑specific safety role for the duration of a single project. Safety Managers support all trade partners and work closely with all members of the project team to form an effective safety program.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Regular Inspections/Audits of Sites & Offices
- Manage W. M. Jordan’s Safety and Health Program
- Conduct safety training for W. M. Jordan personnel and Trade Partners
- Reinforce W. M. Jordan safety culture
- Track leading and lagging indicators
- Incident investigation and documentation
- Support W. M. Jordan safety initiatives in all regions (across three states)
- Serve on the W. M. Jordan safety committee
Qualifications and
Experience:
- Five (5)+ years of experience in a safety role (construction preferred)
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to resolve conflict
- Excellent listening skills and detailed documentation
- CHST, OSHA 30, CPR, and EM385 certifications required
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Blue Beam and various software
- Security clearance for federal projects required
- Valid driver's license
- CQC experience preferred
