Job Description Summary
The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a physician to join our well-established academic family medicine team at the assistant, associate, or professor level to provide comprehensive primary care. Any candidate with an interest in medical education will be highly considered.
The department plays a major role in all four years of the medical school curriculum. Our department has a significant presence in the Dean’s Office, including the role of dean, associate deans, and curriculum directors. We also play a major role in facilitating different outreach activities to different underserved and vulnerable groups, including people who are unfunded, rural, and/or currently unhoused.
The department has a highly successful required core clerkship that sends students around the state. There is potential for this physician to take over part of our work in education.
