The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy and Sleep Medicine at The Medical University of South Carolina is recruiting a physician-scientist in basic, translational, or clinical research relating to pulmonary and critical care diseases.
We are looking for a talented investigator who will be able to actively contribute to our expanding portfolio of research and engage in our clinical mission. Current areas of emphasis in the Division include interstitial lung diseases, lung cancer, cystic fibrosis, critical care, and more.
Available resources within the Division include a robust clinical trials unit and new state of the art laboratory facilities. Potential collaborations with Pulmonary faculty or other Departments at MUSC will be recognized as additional strengths.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- MD or MD/PhD board certified (or board eligible) in Pulmonary.
- Ability to perform job functions in an upright position, seated position, and while walking/mobile.
- Ability to work indoors and in confined/cramped spaces.
- Ability to lift and carry 15 lbs, unassisted.
