Job Description Summary

The Ophthalmology department is currently recruiting for a Pediatric Ophthalmology Fellow. The 12-month Storm Eye Institute fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus is designed to ensure that participants develop the knowledge base, diagnostic reasoning, and clinical and surgical skills necessary to provide quality, ethical, ophthalmic eye care to children and adults with strabismus.

The individual will participate in the educational mission of the department from residents to medical students as appropriate including active teaching assignments in the residency curriculum as well as attendance at teaching conferences. Incumbent will be required, along with a mentor, to develop both short-term and long-term professional goals and objectives. Significant time will be scheduled in the clinics.

Job Description
