The Opportunity

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians (MD/DO) for an exceptional locum tenens opportunity in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This Level I Trauma Center delivers advanced care in a high-volume, fast-paced environment supported by full specialty backup.

With flexible scheduling, premium compensation, and long-term availability, this assignment allows you to practice top-of-license emergency medicine while enjoying everything the South Carolina coast has to offer.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Level I Trauma Center | 70-Bed Emergency Department

• Annual ED Volume: 110,000 Visits

• Census: ~2 Patients per Hour

• Shift Times – Physicians:

  • 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

  • 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

  • 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM

  • 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM

  • 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Primary Need)

• Shift Times – APPs:

  • 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM

  • 6:00 PM – 4:00 AM

• EMR System: Meditech

• Admitting Orders: Yes

• Subspecialty Backup: Full Spectrum Support

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certification: ABEM or AOBEM
• Licensure: Active South Carolina Medical License & Unrestricted DEA
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (ATLS/PALS Preferred)
• Experience: Recent high-volume ED experience (comparable Level I/II trauma preferred)
• Credentialing: Temps Available for Clean Files
