Overview

Alpha School is on a mission to reshape education with a bold approach that harnesses AI to accelerate learning and unleash student potential. The position offers on‑site teaching and mentorship in Miami, Santa Barbara, or San Francisco.

$60.00/hr ($120,000 annual salary, paid weekly). Health benefits from day one, HSA/FSA options, 401(k) Roth available. Relocation assistance provided.

• Providing motivation and mentorship to students through consistent, one‑on‑one and small‑group engagement—coaching rather than lecturing
• Leveraging adaptive learning technology and AI‑driven platforms to support individualized learning progression
• Facilitating small‑group sessions centered on leadership development, life competencies, and practical success frameworks
• Guiding students to identify personal strengths and broaden their goals via tailored development plans
• Advancing Alpha’s educational model through feedback, data analysis, and innovative thinking

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in any discipline
• Proven track record of exceptional achievement (top academic distinctions, D1/Olympic‑level athletics, national‑level competitions, etc.)
• At least 3 years of direct experience working with K–8 students in mentoring, coaching, or teaching roles
• Excellent verbal communication and public speaking capabilities
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship
• Willingness to work on‑site in Miami, FL;
  Santa Barbara, CA; or San Francisco, CA

Alpha School is rewriting the rules of education, allowing students to master core academics in just two hours a day while freeing time for hands‑on, passion‑driven learning that truly prepares them for the real world.

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week) long‑term position available immediately. The contract is entered into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. Compensation is $60 USD/hour, equating to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. Payment is weekly.
