Junior Cooking Camp Instructor Needed! Are you ready to add some flavor to your summer? We're looking for a passionate and creative Junior Cooking Camp Instructor to join our team! If you love cooking, working with kids, and having fun, this could be the perfect role for you.

About the RoleAs the Junior Cooking Camp Instructor, you'll guide children ages 6‑9 on a fun, hands‑on culinary journey. From learning kitchen basics to creating simple recipes, you'll make cooking a safe, educational, and unforgettable experience for our campers.
What You'll Do- Plan and lead engaging daily cooking activities.
- Teach kids how to use basic kitchen tools like knives, graters, mixers, and ovens under supervision.
- Create a safe and supportive environment where learning is as sweet as freshly baked cookies.
- Inspire young minds to discover the joys of cooking.
- Spend your summer filled with laughter, creativity, and the smell of delicious meals.
- Work with a supportive team that values turning simple moments into lasting memories.
- Must be 21 or older to lead our little chefs.
- Experience working in a camp, educational, or similar setting.
- Culinary skills or education (if you can turn mac 'n' cheese into magic, we want you!).
Summer 2026 in our camp kitchen. Our cooking camps run for two one‑week sessions in June and July, with full‑day activities that are sure to inspire our young chefs.
Mandatory paid pre‑camp training sessions on select dates between May 11 and May 29. Sessions start at 6:00 PM and conclude typically by 8:00‑9:00 PM. Attendance is mandatory, except in special cases with Program Director approval.

Position Details- Position Title: Jr. Cooking Camp Instructor
- Division/Department: Parks and Playground / Programs
- Reports To: Program Director
- Pay Rate: $17.50 – $18.50 per hour depending on experience
- Full family membership to the fitness center during the season.
- Free uniform shirts.
- Medical Care Membership available with low ($70) monthly premiums.
