Utili Quest is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Specialist of Field Training. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the development and implementation of training programs for field personnel engaged in utility locating. The Specialist will work closely with field teams, utilizing their expertise to enhance the skills and knowledge of our workforce.

- Field Training Delivery:
Conduct hands‑on training sessions for field staff, covering utility mapping, equipment operation, safety procedures, and industry best practices. - Mentorship and Support:
Provide ongoing mentorship and support to field personnel, fostering a culture of continuous learning. - Training Program Development:
Collaborate with stakeholders to design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs for personnel involved in utility locating. - Compliance and Safety:
Ensure that all field training activities adhere to safety regulations and compliance standards. - Curriculum Enhancement:
Continuously evaluate and update training materials to align with industry standards and emerging technologies. - Performance Assessment:
Implement assessment tools to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and individual performance, providing constructive feedback. - Collaboration:
Work closely with operations and safety teams to identify training needs and address specific challenges. - Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant progress, and other relevant data. Generate reports to measure impact. - Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices into existing programs.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One year or more of proven experience in utility locating or a similar field, with high‑quality results.
- Willingness to do overnight travel as needed (up to 50%).
- Strong commitment to safety, including a positive safety mindset and track record.
- Industry knowledge of utility mapping, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
- Ability to deliver effective field training programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
The wage range for Specialist Field Training is $22.00 - $28.00.
