• Teach courses by providing systematically planned and delivered instruction.
• Design and develop curriculum.
• Prepare and update program course syllabi.
• Evaluate student performance.
• Advise students.
• Develop and foster relationships with local industry.
• Schedule class and lab time effectively.
• Instruct day and/or evening courses.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum of two (2) years related work experience.

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a master's degree with 18 graduate hours of Architecture or Construction Management coursework.
• Additional two (2) years of related work experience.
• Teaching experience desirable.
• Ability to instruct curriculum courses in civil engineering technology and civil engineering transfer curriculum.
• Ability to instruct surveying required.
• Ability to instruct AutoCAD and Civil 3D CAD preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills essential.
• Ability to function in an environment characterized by continual changes in information technology.
