Altriarch delivers flexible credit solutions to middle-market companies, structuring loans secured by receivables, inventory, equipment, and other assets to unlock working capital and fuel growth.
Position OverviewThe Staff Accountant at Altriarch will be a key contributor to the Finance & Accounting team, responsible for managing daily accounting operations, supporting month-end close processes, and assisting with audits. This part‑time role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting Operations:
- Prepare and reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly bank accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Process vendor invoices, maintain accurate accounts payable records, manage payment cycles, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices, monitor collections, and apply cash receipts.
- Support journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting to ensure timely and accurate month‑end closes.
- Assist with external audits by preparing schedules, gathering documentation, and responding to auditor requests.
- Help maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
- Identify and support implementation of improvements in accounting processes, workflows, and internal controls.
- Support special projects and ad hoc reporting as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in AP, AR, and reconciliations.
- Familiarity with GAAP and financial reporting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Investran, or similar).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Experience in Private Credit, Private Equity, Asset Management, or Factoring.
- Strategic Thinking:
