Equity Trader

We are seeking a motivated and disciplined Equity Trader to join our trading team in Charleston. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and a desire to continually learn and grow within a dynamic trading environment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior traders, gain exposure to global markets, and develop deep expertise across trading systems and analytics tools.

• Execute equity trades in accordance with firm policies and market best practices.
• Monitor market activity, identify trading opportunities, and manage orders efficiently for PM's.
• Assist in trade reconciliation (if required), reporting, and performance analysis (TCA).
• Maintain discipline and organization in all aspects of trade execution and workflow.
• Collaborate with technology and operations teams to ensure system efficiency and accuracy.
• Continuously seek to improve trading processes, market knowledge, and technical proficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of equity markets and fundamental trading concepts.
• Familiarity with Excel and Bloomberg Terminal; ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Highly organized, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
• Demonstrated desire and capacity to learn new tools, strategies, and market structures.
• Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• 2–5 years of experience in an equity trading or operations role.
• Exposure to various OMS/EMS platforms or algorithmic trading tools.
